5 years ago By James Porcas

London travel to a snow covered bath

London met at 9.35(ish) at London Paddington, with the majority of the team in a hungover state due to new goalie Andy (american andy) threw a house party the night before. The 2 hour train journey was far from pleasent, with no space and freezing cold. On approaching bath, the team doubted whehter the game would be on as snow continued to fall.
On arrival at the pitch (after a stop for under-armour...) london the game is on and quickly change for a brief warm up.
On a snow covered pitch (i saw was a 2/3 scaled version) with no visble marking and an the help of an orange ball london started promisingly.
Ali scoring his first, mike finding himself in space taking a shot to score his first of the season and push scoring of a well-worked fast break goal. Bath 2's fought back through their (former london coach) No. 0 sneaking a few in from the crease.
Great saves from andy and soem good Defence from Dan who kept pestering their pink sticked attack man prevetned bath added much to their total.
A brace of goals from porky, 2 more from ali and one from a hung over nate gave london the advantage. A fast break sent OJ/Kunle flying down the right wing, approaching goal, options left and right, OJ takes his london uni careers to the next step an cracks one in from 15 yards.
London finish the game with some solid offense, stopping Bath regaining possession.
Next round Hitchin A.
