Its easy to sound like sour grapes for losing heavily in a promotion game, but some moral questions still leave a bad taste. Wallsend Boys Club ethos of win whatever it takes is a credit to its success over the years, it built it's reputation on getting the best players. Not from Wallsend ! any where. The living within six mile radius rule of the club for boy/youth leagues.- not a problem - just put your address as any relative you have that lives within 6 miles, or an address of a friend of the family who worked at SwanHunters. It should not be a surprise to find the Senior Team doing the same. Fielding half a team of Northern Premier/Northern league Players for one or two games is not illegal!, but it is hard to accept in reality, especially after a long hard season of ups and Downs. But that life I and who said it was fair. Not much to say about the game clearly a one sided show but full credit to Keith Thompson, Howie and all the boys they give it the best shot as they have done through out the season. Surely next season the Bulls will have an influx of good real Players from Wallsend who got dumped for the all stars.
