Three Players to represent EM Under 16s
Three Long Buckby players make East Midlands U16 squad for 2012/2013
Congratulations go to Cameron Clarke, Robbie Povey and Jamie Smith for being selected to represent the East Midlands Under 16s 2012/2013.
Following a series of selection events involving Clubs, Alliance, Schools of Rugby and Saints Elite Player Development Group players, three have made the East Midlands Squad U16 for the 2012-13 season.
This is a tremendous achievement for the club to have these boys selected - the squad has 29 players in total.
East Midlands draws from clubs and schools throughout Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Hunts & Peterborough regions. Seventy players were being considered in the final selection process.
At the U16 age group, East Midlands selection is the first step to potential Divisional and then England selection during the 2012-13 season.
All three boys are members of the Saints EPDG and once again we would like to congratulate them on there hard work and commitment to the game.
