Long Eaton's march to promotion continued, with a 40 point haul against a much improved Sileby Vikings.
Sileby belied there position near the bottom of the league with a physical game plan approach to top of the table Long Eaton's preferred open style, and the home team we made to work hard for the 5 points.
Long Eaton opened the scoring from the kick off and the six tries came at regular intervals. Man of the Match Paul (Gibbsie) Wakefield scored two, along with returning Wing, Malvin Mazorodze. Dre Forbes scored from short rage, whilst captain Cooke, was on the on the end of a stunning team try virtually the length of the pitch. Ryan Beresford back at 10 for the first time this season weighed in with 5 conversions.
With Ashby failing to get a bonus point at Buxton, the Blues extended their lead to 12 points with a game in hand.
