Long Eaton leading the table host 2nd place Ashby at 3.00pm at West Park.
The Blues former Head Coach, Phil Milton, now in charge at Ashby, will be hoping to get one over his former club. Ashby have been free scoring with just the one defeat away at the always difficult Grimsby. In all their other games they have past the 40 point mark, so it promises to be a cracking game.
Even at this early stage of the season, the game could be a pivotal towards the end of the season, if the Blues continue their winning run, the can go at least 13 points clear, or the Leicestershire club could close the gap to 4 points.
The Coaching Team and Players are excited by this weeks challenge. Director of Rugby Matt Everard commented "with virtually all the squad available, fit and raring to go, its going to be top level training week, and a tough selection with so many players putting their hands up. What we can promise is that it will be arguably our strongest team of the season to meet the challenge of Ashby head on".
Before the game, at 1.30pm Long Eaton Development Team will play Loughborough Development. Lots of the young players of the future, with some of the senior squad on show.
