first team travail to parkgate and though they put up a great show the 3 – 1 scoreline did not do them justice. One good point is the youngsters Armstrong, Hilton and King who put on a good show. With Armstrong on target again with a 25 yard stunner. I just hope we can keep hold of him when the word gets out. Also great to see some first teem players also making the trip to support their friends even though they were in the bar when the first goal went in.

still teams in the FA cup but no longer as Tadcaster go out to FC Halifax 2 – 1 could not hang on to their lead after 30 to conceed on 86and 90 (again). Staverly lose to Hyde at home 0 – 3.
league see Armthorp draw with Lincolin 3 – 3. lots of goals also at Arnold as they lose to Selby 3 – 4 but Arnold had to score the winner for them. Must be really upset as the web credit unknown with the goal and then letting Selby get the winner on 86 (Heard with a hat trick). Would you believe it Barton beat Pickering 1-0 on 90!!!!!! (my next task is to work out just how many 90 goals have been scored). Hall road put 4 past Maltby winning 4 – 0. Brid were one down against Liversidge after 5 but by 40 had scored 4 goals to finish 2 – 4. Nostal lose to Thackly 2 – 3 but went in two up, an own goal on 55 and you guessed it the winner on 90. Brighouse beat Retford 1 – 2 and Scarbrough beat Winterton 3 – 2 with Winterton getting their second on... o i cant be bothered any more.
The week end leave us in 13th place but a win could still get us well up the table.Staverly drop to 5th having not played in the league, two Bs at the top Brighouse on 18 and Brid on 17. Pickering still rooted to the bottom on 4 points with Selby just above on 5. this is looking good for me and my car but its early days. Talking of my car just seen top of div one are Worsop and Handsworth.

Grange win 6 – 3 against Celtic (not the Scottish team ) Chambers 3 (inc 2 pens), Hilton did what he did not do Saturday and scoring, Hancock (blane that is) 1 and Quinn 1. why is it they always play better when i turn up only once have i seen the other team score more than we do. Anyway they were a good side but a bit weak at the back and once we could get the ball clear we took our chances well.

The Ladies beat Ashfordby well 8 – 0 in the some round before the FA cup starts. i reacon people were expecting more but it was job done. Johnstone 2, Harford 1, Buntin (baby Spice) 2, Smyth 1 Armstrong and Berrisford 1.

Rise Park put ten past Barlstone. Sandiacre beat Gedling 3 – 2 and Shepshead win at last beating Market Worsop 3 – 1. in the league Mansfield still lead the pack on 16 points pulling away from Daventry on 12. we are still third from bottom but the weekend results mean the other teams have played as many games `as we have.though on he down side the top half of the league are pulling away.

U11 blue beat Market Worsop 5 – 2 . Mathew 3, Thomas 1 and Lee 1
