By the way, Gallows has copped lucky. He's got the bravest, youngest, strongest , most committed player I've seen in years plus this lad strikes a ball with technique like no other in the league. His name is Armstrong. He is the future. |

Phoenix rising from the flames? Was very encouraging to see our youngest ever first team Blues fight, scrap, and attempt to pass the ball yday. Agree with Richard, that Mikey Armstrong is developing into one hell of an all round player& captain marvel yesterday. Looking at the prog stats, noticed it was our first 0-0 of the season&only the 2nd time Parkgate failed to score in a match as well this campaign. Great team performance, lets hope we can continue in this style :) |

I fully agree regarding the comments about Michael Armstrong and we all saw the result of Jim Fairley's continued support of the Youth Section he set up many years ago when they held the strong Parkgate team. Support for the young players has always been the answer although perhaps some experience on the field might help us get away from the wrong end of the table. The loss of so many 'supporters' may now be reversed if they can come down to GP and see performances like the one we saw on Saturday. The crunch will come at Tadcaster. |

lets step back a bit with heaping praise on Armstrong. i tryed to worship him earlier in the season and i doubt if he liked it so lets just stand back and let things take their course. cant judge by one game and remember it was Webb that really kept us in it with two out of this world saves. |

Everything said about Michael Armstrong and the team performance as a whole is correct, but let us not put too much expectation on them too soon. Let us just hope Maltby, and Selby keep losing. |
