A trip to Lydney on Bank Holiday Monday for Levens.

When and Where:

Lydney Recreation Ground
Swan Road
Lydney
Gloucestershire
GL15 5RU

Kick Off 3.00pm

Team News:

Typical Bank Holiday fashion Longlevens are missing a number of players due to work and holidays.

Out: Dave Merrick (Holiday), Brad Vanstone (Holiday), Dave Rich (Work).

In: Dan Parry.

Club captain Craig Martin could be in contention for his first start of the campaign.

The Opposition:

The recreation ground has not been a happy hunting ground for Longlevens. So far we are played 4 lost 4, so statistics like that tell you all about the size of the task at hand.

Lydneys most notable absentee is striker Pete Macklin (Hamstring) who has scored 5 goals in his opening 5 games.

Its set to be a HOT day and therefore will not doubt attract a bigger crowd to the rec tomorrow, so Longlevens will have to be at the races to get anything from this one.

Moores Thoughts:

Its frustrating to be missing so many for this one but thats the way it is, we have to get on with it and we have enough in reserve to compete.

Stats don't work in our favour, one thing we have to do against Lydney is match them for energy and desire. Its a tin hat and gum shield job before any football gets played so we have to be prepared to do that.
