We travel to Windor for a Hellenic Premier Division Tie

After 11 league games so far this season, a 13 point return, 3 wins, 4 draws and 4 defeats, its fair to say that its been a mixed start to the new season. One that first team manager Mark Moore reflected on before the midweek defeat to Brimscombe and Thrupp on Tuesday evening.

The side didn't quite do enough on Tuesday to get anything from the game despite a fair even contents and a decent amount of pressure in the second period, but couldn't quiet convert any final third penetration to score.

Its an obvious comments in football but its simply about putting the ball in the net at one end, and keeping it out the net at the other. Apart from the Highworth game where the opposition was far superior Longlevens haven't quiet found their mojo as of yet.

Tomorrows trip into unknown territory for Longlevens, as we visit Stag Meadow for the first time is another chance for us to put this right.

As the squad starts to take a consistent shape with loanees; Mason Lewis and Jack Horrell now required by their parent club Cirencester Town, only two changes from the side that lost at The Meadow in the week.

Ed Smyllee misses out as he limped off after 30 minutes with a Hamstring Injury and Brad Barnard gets his first admission to the squad for the new season.

Windsor sit one place behind Longlevens, with 1 point less having played 3 less games. Their squad boosts ex Fulham striker Barry Hayles who im sure will be a handful for the backline tomorrow.

Yet another tough test is in the pipeline for the side who will want to rest a few demons left after the midweek defeat.
