- Manager Lee Ashcroft

Midfielder Alex O'Rourke (pictured) won both the Supporters Player of The Year, and the Player's Player of The Year at Longridge Town's Annual Presentation Night held at St.Wilfred's Club yesterday.

Assistant Manager Keiran Walmsley presented the award to Alex, whilst Manager Lee Ashcroft gave his Managers Player of The Year to goalkeeper Lee Dovey, a popular choice amongst the audience of Players and Supporters.

The night also saw striker Brad Carsley retain his leading goalscorer title with 29 League goals over the Season.

Ashey was glowing in his praise for the team, and the award winners, as he spoke about the team spirit that had helped Town towards their first West Lancashire League Premier Division Title, '' It was a roller coaster season for us towards the end, but these are a great bunch of lads and we had a togetherness that saw us through. I'm delighted for Al O'Rourke to get the recognition that his performances deserved, and we'll miss him next season as sadly, for us anyway,he joins the RAF in July. He's been brilliant for me over his 2 years here and he'll always be welcome at the Club.''

Town enter their mid season break now, with pre season training starting in June, and friendlies already announced include games against both AFC Blackpool and Bamber Bridge.
