Dynamo Fixtures Announced

4 days ago By John Bryson

Loughborough Dynamo's Fixtures for the 2018-19 league season have been announced.

Several new club names feature in the forthcoming season's league fixtures. There has been major restructuring in Steps 3 and 4 of non league football this Summer. The Evo-Stik League Divisions One North and South have been replaced by Divisions One East and West, Dynamo being placed into the former. Two extra divisions, one at Step 3 and one at Step 4, have been created.

All the divisions at these two levels have been reduced in size to twenty clubs in each. Consequently there are new clubs in the division who Dynamo have never previously faced in league encounters.

Dynamo open their season at home on Saturday August 18th to a new club entirely, Ossett United forming this season as the two Ossett clubs, Ossett Albion and Ossett Town, merged to form the new club.

Dynamo then travel to AFC Stamford on Tuesday August 21st, before returning to
Loughborough for two Bank Holiday Encounters. On Saturday August 25th either Bottesford Town or Rayford are the visitors in the Preliminary Round of The Emirates FA Cup, while Monday August 27th sees league action with the visit of Carlton Town.

Boxing Day's game is a home encounter with Gresley FC, which is also the final league encounter of 2018. Dynamo open 2019 with an away game at Carlton Town on January 1st.

The season closes with Dynamo hosting Frickley Athletic on Easter Saturday, April 20th. Easter Monday, April 22nd, sees an away trip to Gresley FC, with the season closing on Saturday April 27th with the visit to Loughborough of Pickering Town, another side Dynamo have never previously faced in league football.

Full fixture details can be found on the Evo-Stik League website.
