Dominant Dynamo thrash Romulus
Loughborough Dynamo overcame bottom of the table side Romulus with a dominant 4-1 victory, inspired by young midfielder Josh Riley.
A 23rd minute penalty from Karl Demidh put the home side ahead, before Riley’s first goal doubled the advantage six minutes later.
And things only got worse for Romulus when last man Nathan Hands was sent off for hauling down Demidh when through on goal after 31 minutes.
Using the man advantage to good effect, Loughborough’s sharp passing saw them create numerous chances, and Riley added two more goals early in the second half to secure the result.
A fine counter attack saw Romulus midfielder Jourdain Masidi score a consolation goal with four minutes left, but Dynamo saw out the closing stages without concern to secure a well-earned three points.
