Lincoln take advantage of poor Dynamo display
Two first half goals were enough to seal a comfortable away win for Lincoln United, against a lacklustre Loughborough side.
Lincoln were ahead inside a minute after Loughborough defender Jean Desrosiers played a weak back pass straight to Jack McGovern. The striker had plenty of time to pick his spot before finishing cooly.
Forward Karl Demidh did force Lincoln keeper Sam Vince to pull off a smart stop after 15 minutes, but that was as good as it got for the home-side who found themselves 2-0 down nine minutes later. This time McGovern turn provider, teeing up Matthew Cotton to finish well from 18 yards.
Despite resorting to long ball tactics in the second half, Loughborough failed to create a chance of note, and Lincoln comfortably held onto to secure a first league win in four games.
