As the evening’s draw out and the spring arrives, on Saturday April 1st, all eyes will be on Gunton Park where Lowestoft & Yarmouth RUFC will be hosting their 2nd Beer Festival.

On the pitch, the 1st XV wrap up their home league campaign against King Lynn based, West Norfolk, in what promised to be an evenly matched game. West Norfolk took the result in the reverse fixture with a 29-24 win so L&Y will certainly be aiming to put the record straight! The 2nd XV faced league front-runners Diss III at home looking to keep their run of impressive results going until the end of the season…

Off the pitch, the beer festival will be in full swing from 3pm with a selection of Real Ales, Cider & a Pimm’s n Gin’s Tent. Food and refreshments will be available throughout the festival and there is even evening entertainment.

So make sure you get down to Gunton Park on April 1st and enjoy the atmosphere, rugby, evening entertainment and more.
