Mick Monroe named as comedy speaker, plus a superb article on Nick Easter, now officially the oldest ever English International Try Scorer.

Take a look at this link for a perfect example of a true rugby hero.

We are also able to confirm that the comedian for this year will be Mick Monroe. Originating from Middlesborough, Mick has been on the circuit for years and is very experienced having travelled worldwide supporting many famous names, entertaining the Forces, and is especially popular for after-dinner sports events.

Already we have a pair of Rugby World Cup 2015 semi-final tickets available for the auction, and we are looking for more donations for the auction and raffle prizes (email Matt Jary for more information).

The event itself has already hit its maximum of 250 reservations which is the most popular since it was re-invented at the Parkhill Hotel. Payments will be required by the end of February so tables may become available again in early March.
