A very tough game today, made more challenging by the fact the team had no subs, so all players had to play the full 50 minutes against very accomplished opponents.

Early sparring was closely fought and organised defending meant it took a while for the deadlock to be broken.

All our players tried tremendously hard for the entire game, never giving up, whatever the scoreline. We've worked on our positioning and battling to win the ball and it was evident the team have really taken this on board and are beginning to put lessons into practice.

Things are beginning to fall into place and each week all players are demonstrating visible improvement.

Player of the match was awarded to Aiden, he showed skill whilst on the ball and wasn't afraid to take players on, he worked hard from start to finish, well done Aiden.
