3rds loose narrowly to high flying Elks

The thirds went out onto the pitch today full of dread and came away with a dignified defeat of 1 - 0 to Ulster Elks. Outstanding play from all the girls who played out of their socks to keep it really tight at the back and were still able to carry out some fantastic runs up the wings. Unfortunately we were able to convert anything in the Elks circle. Great vocals from Sarah P and strong defensive play by Ella H. A solid performance from Hannah McFall in the centre who no doubt will be suffering from sore legs tomorrow after some of the runs she made. Thanks to Cherryl for taking charge of the line. It is all starting to come together girls - let's keep this push on for the rest of the season.
