Last night, Friday 24th April, Luton Rugby Club's Under 8s Team were awarded the runners up prize at The Luton Sports Awards "Young Sports Team of the Year".

The Luton Sports Awards are hosted by the Luton Sports Network in partnership with Active Luton and is a prestigious event where sports people of all ages are recognised for their achievements during the previous year January - December.

Luton Rugby Football Club Under 8s were shortlisted as one of the top three teams in "Young Sports Team of the Year" category. They attended the award ceremony last night, Friday 24th April, in The Riverside Suite at Venue 360.

Regretfully, they finished as runners up but this is nonetheless an amazing achievement. Everyone at Luton Rugby Club are immensely proud of the team. Well done, lads!
