The U15's broke Groby Blues hearts after a gutsy performance from both sides saw the U15's progress to the next round of the League Cup courtesy of a penalty shootout.
It was anything but a boring 0-0 draw as chances were created at both ends of the pitch. With a nail-biting extra time period Lutterworth were camped out in Groby's half but couldn't convert their chances.
With a penalty shoot -out taking place in fading light Cam Quinn and Frankie Hayes put The Atho in the driving seat by converting their spot kicks. Captain Fenton Booth then calmly took the deciding 5th penalty to take Lutterworth through.
Man of the Match was Will Bailess with a excellent performance at right wing back.
