In a much awaited return to the field for the players of the Vets XV, this weekend we look forward to welcoming Oadby Wyggs Vets XV in the first round of the Leicestershire VetsXV cup. The match tomorrow is the one of four preliminary rounds., with twelve teams entered the winners of tomorrows game will play Hinckley away in the quarter final.

No First XV fixture this week however LRFC 2nd XV are playing Melton Mowbray at home in the County Cup this Saturday. The 2nd’s put in a strong performance last week, brushing aside South Leicester in the league. They look to build on that and take it into tomorrow’s big cup game.

Kick off is at 2.15pm. We expect lots of supporters and have stocked the bar well so please arrive in plenty of time and ensure your homeward taxis are ordered!
