Lydney fail to capitalise on an early try and the overall performance was one of poor discipline, communication and teamwork skills.

The winning formula continues to illude the Severnsiders along with finding the right blend of playing partnerships in key positions. Too many passing and handling errors prevented the home team from capitalizing on the few try scoring opportunities created. To add to the teams woes, the loss of Ben Lewis on half time brought disruption to the front row - something the visitors seized on and manufactured several penalty gains from. All substition options from the bench were used with the interesting appearance of Jimmy Roberts to replace James Bashford in the second row.
