Lydney Utd Win Away

Lydney Utd travelled up to Longlevens for a rearranged league fixture. Lydney Utd is top of their league with an unbeaten run. Lydney scored first with Jack Knox powering his way over the try line, with Nathan Tucker converting the extras. The young Lydney side kept the pressure on with the forwards and backs linking up to see Jack Sterry go over the white wash Nathan Tucker adding the extras. Conal Mills scored next using his pace running out wide to cross the try line with Nathan Tucker converting the extras. Longlevens scored just before the half time oranges.

Lydney started the second half with a great team performance to see Alex Nelmes score one of this three tries with Nathen Tucker adding the extras. Lydney increased the tempo and started taking control of the field, dominating the open field of play, with great team work, skills and pace between the forwards and backs; Jack Sterry scoring next showing his pace and skills. Longlevens used their large forwards to score a couple of tries. Lydney had the final say with Jack Murdock smashing his way over the white wash before the final whistle. Lydney Utd stays top of their league unbeaten.
