Town's 4 senior sides win and 3rds take the Charities Cup Final.

It proved to be a clean sweep for our sides this weekend with all teams recording wins in the league. The 3rd team topped it off by winning the Charities Cup Final on Sunday following a single strike from Charlie Powell.
The 1st team travelled to Ascot Utd and a strike each from Patty Gibbs and Niall made the trip home a lot sweeter with all 3 points in the bag.

A double from Liam Fox along side strikes from Sam Wines, Harry Williams and a Ryan Dawson penalty put paid to Dursley Town 5-0 down the Rec.

The 3rds faced Blakeney away and also collected all the points thanks to a Scotty Burrows double, a lovely finish from Luke Clarke and the goal of the afternoon from Ricky Burcher who ran the length of the pitch before slotting past the helpless keeper in a 4-1 win.
The 4ths went one better with a great 5-1 win at Sling. Bryan Minchington was another player to hit a brace. Anthony Potton bagged his second in 2 games while Dan Baldwin and debutante Tom Cullininane also made the scoresheet.

On Sunday afternoon at Harrow Hill, Nelly's army saw off Newent Town in the Charities Cup Final. Charlie Powell was the hero of the hour with the single goal of the day to make it back to back Cup wins following the 4th team's victory last weekend.
