Finally...a win

Massive effort earns well deserved derby win

Skipper and birthday boy Sam Elliott headed a derby night winner to end an horrific run of defeats.
Having gone 11 games that included 10 in the league without a win, Town couldn't have picked a better time to find 3 points, a home derby win against Tuffley Rovers.
One swallow does not make a summer, but there were signs there that Lydney can and will get out of the dog fight in the lower reaches of the league.

The win itself should breed confidence in the side, but nothing but more of the same will do in the coming fixtures.
