We welcome Hellenic League Division 2 East side Long Crendon to The Rec on Saturday 12th Jan, and they bring with them an impressive 12 league wins on the bounce to see them top the table.
The latest of these wins came last Saturday when they defeated a Virginia Water Development Side 4-3 away from home.
Their obvious dangers are the men up top, brothers Harry & Archie Pettingwell who have bagged 25 goals between them, along with James Hawkes who has chipped in with 12 of his own.
The game is in the BluFin Supplementary Cup and will be free from the constant pressure of fighting for league points, though we should go into the game full of confidence after Saturday's superb 4-0 away win at Reading City.
