Another heavy defeat for 2's

Town Reserves suffered another heavy defeat on Tuesday evening when Quedgley completed a league double down the Rec. Having lost 7-0 away a few weeks ago, at least the boys kept it to just the 5 this time around.

For a side that looked well capable of challenging for a top 4 slot earlier in the season they have now won only once, 1-0 at Woolaston, in their last 10 games.
March in particular was a disastrous month, losing all 4 games played.

They finish their fixtures with a home game on Saturday(22nd) against Stroud Harriers. It could prove another difficult task against a side currently in 4th spot in the table.

It's a shame the season has ended so flat as at one stage they showed great promise and were worth a watch, especially at home.

With Lydbrook, Woolaston, English Bicknor and Mitcheldean all in the league, surely the first target next season is to finish as the top side in the forest and see where that takes us.
Good luck on the weekend
