This Sunday the 24th April sees the Scottish Rugby Union Caledonia Regional Youth Finals day at Station Park, St Andrews and our very own Madras Rugby Club U15s in the finals playing
against Stirling County.

The journey has been a tough road for the boys. Following tough qualification matches with wins over Dunfermline, Perth and Aberdeen, Madras Rugby Club U15’s are up against Stirling County, one of the countries top club sides, in the Cup Final, the premier competition in the U15 age group.

Reaching the cup final is a fantastic achievement for the boys and follows on from all their efforts and endeavours training with the club ever since Primary 3. Inspired by the enthusiasm
of the boys, the coaching teams have also had to develope across all youth age groups at Madras and are supported by an entirely voluntary coaching team all rugby right qualified, with UKCC Level 2 coaches, plus a highly professional medical support and a network of engaged parents supporting activities wherever they are able.

This U15 team encompasses players from across the whole of North East Fife, many of them playing together as a group since Primary 3, and to reach the final of this cup competition is a magnificent achievement in their first real taste of competitive rugby.

Sunday will see a magnificent festival of youth rugby with the day being hosted on behalf of the Scottish Rugby Union by Madras Rugby Club with parents from across all age groups
of the the club embracing the day and offering their full support to make the event a success for the Scottish Rugby Union.

The boys and the club would be delighted to welcome rugby fans across North East Fife to Station Park on Sunday 24th April to enjoy a fantastic day of rugby.
