It is with deep regret and a heavy heart that I must inform you that on Friday night Walter Sutherland, whilst attending the end of season dinner died suddenly following a heart attack.

Our thoughts are with his wife Ann and his family at this sad time.

Ann has said that as long as he didn't suffer and he was with his friends in the club he loved and cherished, Walter wouldn't have wanted anything else.

Thank you to all those who aided Walter to the end in Jonathan and Stewart, and to both paramedic crews that evening.

I will keep you informed once we have more information regarding funeral arrangements.
