" What a great day for Madras RFC. This morning, around 200 P4/5 children from Greyfriars, Lawhead and Canongate visited Station Park on what was a beautiful day to play touch rugby.
The event marked the end of a programme run by Madras RFC Modern Apprentice, Fraser Smith- who has attended each school over the last 5 weeks to deliver curricular rugby lessons.
The future of madras rugby looks very bright and we are sure that all spectators would agree that the play that was witnessed during the games was remarkable considering the majority of players were beginners. Not only did they show great skill, but they conducted themselves in true Rugby fashion- like great sportsmen.

Madras RFC looks to welcome new players at any point in the year and would love to see some of the bright talent shown today, down at the club on Saturday Mornings from 10:30am. WHY NOT GIVE IT A TRY? "
