| Maghull | 8 | vs | 4 | Hightown Boys |
Maghull 9 vs 4 Hightown Boys
Under 10s continue on winning run.
This result making it 4 wins in a row .
Maghull started brightly and were 3 up in no time, we were always on top in this game however we lost focus and tried to over play in dangerous areas letting Hightown get a couple of goals.
Half time 4-2
As the game progressed Maghull started to settle down, tried to play football on a difficult pitch and more goals started to come but we need to achieve consitancy in our passing and communication between players needs to improve.
Elliott (our keeper) received a special mention from the Hightown manger for a couple of great saves late on. Adam B, Corben , Nathen , Shaun (played with a knock) and Tom P all did well at the back.
The midfield weighed in with plenty of attacking options and goals, Chappers, Tom R, Billy, Jay and Adam F getting a hat trick!
Upfront Ben was his usual busy self and created a great goal for himself dragging Hightown one way then the other.
Next Saturday we have a hard game against litherland tigers and unfortunately we have no keeper but no doubt we will give it a good shot.
Keep up the good work boys .
