Chippenham cup trip for the Magpies

2 months ago By Steve Jinman

Maidenhead United will travel away to Chippenham Town in the 4th Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday 20th October.

The trip to Wiltshire was confirmed when Chippenham beat Hendon 4-1 in the 3rd Qualifying round at Hardenhuish Park tonight.
Chippenham play one division below United, in the Vanarama National League South.
The clubs have faced each other only twice during Maidenhead's season long stay in the Southern League Premier Division in 2006/07. The match at York Road finished goalless, whilst the reverse fixture saw Chippenham run out 2-1 winners.
The tie is worth £25,000 to the victors and a place in the first round proper.
