Youngsters sign up for next season

2 weeks ago By Steve Jinman

Young prospects Josh Kelly and Sean McCormack will return to York Road next season following a successful campaign on loan at Walton Casuals.

The Casuals won the Isthmian League Division One South play off final on Saturday with Kelly (pictured) scoring one of the penalties in the climactic shootout, with both boys scoring in the 5-2 semi-final win at Cray.
Over the season long loan spell at Walton, striker Josh scored 40 goals in 50 appearances, whilst winger Sean hit the target 9 times in his 52 games.
Both 19 year olds are expected to play a role in the Magpies Vanarama National squad next season.
Joining them will be creative midfielder James Comley, who has committed himself to United for a fourth season. This leaves just a handful of the current squad still to make a decision about their future with Sean Marks the only confirmed departure.
