Welcome to Maidenhead United Ladies Development

Maidenhead United Ladies are delighted to welcome Maidenhead United Ladies U18's to compete from 2014/15. The team have previously played under the Maidenhead Boys & Girls banner for many season up until U16's last season which has seen them join Maidenhead United Ladies as a natural progression into ladies football for some of the most talented young players in the local area.

The team was originally formed at U10’s in the South Chiltern Minors League as the Bluesox, within the teams first season they won the league and were also runners up in their respective cup competition. At U11's they finished league runners up but in a turnaround of events this time won the cup. At U12's they achieved the double, winning both the league and the cup. In the following season at 9 aside they were league runners up but claimed their third consecutive cup final win. In the 2011/12 season the Bluesox merged with their sister side the Whitesox to form 1 team; this enabled them to play 11 aside in the newly formed Berkshire County Girls League, remarkably they ended the season as League Champions. During the 2012/13 season the team went on an unbeaten run winning run which delivered another league and cup double. The team then secured another league and cup double throughout the 2013/14 season, and in the process narrowly missing out on the treble with a County Cup Final defeat to Reading FC on penalties after a close fought 1-1 draw. The team are undefeated in the league for the past two seasons.
