Dear All

A quick note to say "I DID IT!" - I managed to complete the London
Marathon ... all 26.2 miles .... before it got dark as well!

My time was 4 hrs 57 min 55 secs (11.3 min a mile) and i
came in at position number 25,381 which considering there were 38,000
runners and i started at the back, i'm quite pleased about.



The course and atmosphere were absolutely amazing and it was an
experience i will never forget, so much so that i didn't plug my i-pod
in once, as the encouragement and support i got from the crowd really
saw me home.



Many thanks to all for your kind donations, they really helped me
through the tough stages.



For those who haven't quite got round to sponsoring me yet, my website
will stay open for a couple of weeks yet, so there is plenty of time.

The figure at the moment stands at an amazing £397 and with still a
few pledges to come in, I'm hoping to break the £500 mark - so thanks
