The 2nd period was almost a complete role reversal as New Salamis took the game to the Jammers, although George Smith saw a lovely finish ruled out for offside.

The visitors equalised when sub Nathan Mandla coolly finished sending Luca Collins the wrong way when he was put through on goal.

The turnaround was complete with 2 minutes to play when some slick play down the Maldon right ended with Lewis Jaggs turning the ball into his own net.

Temple was on hand to tap home a late leveller when goalkeeper Wealands parried Smith’s low drive.

The last game of the season is on the 27th April at home to Witham Town as the Jammers look to finish the campaign on a high.
