Fantasy Cricket
The 2012 cricket season is fast approaching therefore this has to be read carefully and replied too quickly.
This applies to everyone, the more involved the better!
I have decided to create Maldon Cricket Club’s very own fantasy cricket competition! There should be a lot of competition, good prizes and essentially money raised for the club!
The way it works is it is £10 to enter a team and £15 if you wish to enter two teams. Half of the money goes towards prizes and the other half goes to the club so the more teams the more money raised!
The points will only be taken from the scorecards of the Saturday games only! SUNDAY games will NOT count! Each player has been given a value on how they performed last year so please do not get OFFENDED!
There are four categories you must select from which are the batsmen, bowlers, all-rounders and wicket keepers.
Also please do not get OFFENDED if your not in the all-rounder category.
This is the first year of doing this at the club and I will be able to publish the prizes after I’m sure of the numbers but first prize should be £100!
The rules are below.
Email your teams and team names to csharris00@googlemail.com or give a printed version to me directly. Money must be given to me ASAP.
P.S there should be a transfer window halfway through the season.
And last of all bonus points for best team name! Good luck!
