Manchester Rugby Club is a club with heritage and tradition.
Established in 1860, we are one of the oldest rugby clubs in the world and a founding member of the RFU.
As an integral part of a multi-sports club (Rugby, Cricket and Squash) boasting 1000 members, our membership is made up of local people, sports enthusiasts, parents, company directors, city based professionals, local business owners and managers, private school teachers and pupils etc.

- In October each year we hold the largest M&J festival in the North with approaching 4,000 attendees from 30 different clubs playing more than 200 games over two days.
- Each season the club travels to more than 50 different Rugby Clubs.
- As well as representing their counties, many of our Mini & Junior players also play for their local schools e.g. Manchester GS, Stockport GS, Cheadle Hulme, Wilmslow High, Bramhall High in their successful sports teams.
