Under 9s - Team News
Oh What a Night!!
We all caught Disco Fever this weekend with the Manchester Rugby Club Ball and what a night was had, with great food, great music and great company.
It was Saturday Night Fever as we all donned our glad rags and headed down to Grove Park for the Annual Rugby Club Ball. The setting was superb with table decorations and 'his and her' goodies waiting for us as we entered the Marquee.
The mood was set with great music, ambient lighting and a general feel good buzz. Yes, we were all in the mood to party so that's exactly what we did. The Under 9s were very well represented with 3 tables along with other parents sitting amongst older siblings tables. In fact, it would be difficult to think of any other age group with such a healthy turnout, or is that unhealthy, as the whole night revolved,(more in some cases than others), around eating, drinking and being merry. If there was an award for being merry then our tables won hands down, that's for sure.
There was fun everywhere we turned with the macho mustachioed amongst us, showing off their efforts for Movember. There was definitely an aroma of, 'Just For Men' as some were dyed for a thicker effect!! From the ones of us not able to wear a 'tache' then well done to the very brave who have.
Can I say a big thank you to the MRC Ball Committee for the time and effort they put into this Ball and for the fabulous results that were there for all to see in abundance, well done to you all.
