Although Manchester turned around 0-5 down, their willingness to move the ball was rewarded with two second half tries to lead 12-5 going into the last quarter.

Manchester then spent the last 15 minutes almost entirely in their own 22 as Darlington pushed for an equalising score. Impressively, the defence held firm, with the ball being held up on the line no less than three times.

The celebrations at the end were well earned. This was a great result not only to end the season but to build on for next.
