Sale Sharks & Seashell Trust Visit
Sale Sharks Supporters Club have held their first event away from Edgeley Park at Manchester Rugby Club.
The evening gave supporters the opportunity to meet Sale's new British and Irish players Tony Buckley, Cillian Willis, Charlie Amesbury, Mark Easter, Joe Ward and Andrew Higgins. The evening also gave the SSSC the opportunity to present their chosen charity, the Seashell Trust, with a cheque for £650.
To accept the cheque were Wendy Bray and Dominic Tinner from the Seashell Trust. “We both thoroughly enjoyed the evening,” said Wendy “ and felt so welcomed by the supporters and the lovely players. It was great to meet everyone and we’re really looking forward to working together in the future.”
SSSC Chairman Graeme Bowers said “This is our first event away from Edgeley Park and it went really well. The lads were brilliant and we had a good supporter turn out – the room was full!”
