Some of the ladies team and friends are taking part in Pretty Muddy Race for life 5K for Cancer Research UK on Saturday 5th September. As well as the Alzheimer's Society, Cancer Research is also an important cause, close to the hearts of Manchester Ladies...

- There are now an estimated 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK, rising to 4 million by 2030
- More than a thousand people will be diagnosed with cancer everyday in the UK by the end of 2016
