It's been a busy week off the pitch for the Spartans as we worked with our allies down in Twickenham at the RFU to promote their superb support for Stonewall's Rainbow Laces Campaign.

We're so proud to be featured in articles across the England Rugby Website this week, including an article featuring Danny - a med student who's loving rugby with us - one of our growing number of 'Straight' players making our team fantastically inclusive and focused on competitive rugby.

We're also delighted to see an interview that Dean, our Chairman and Trustee for International Gay Rugby in Europe, gave to the RFU published this evening - just ahead of the Quilter International match at the home of Rugby, that kicks off on Saturday 24th November between England and Australia.

Even better, we're actually in the souvenir programme for that momentous match - on a day England Rugby will be shouting loudly in support of LGBT participation in rugby across the stadium as Stonewall enjoy being their Charity of choice for the fixture.

In the week that national and regional Rugby squads and unions around the world have come together to show Gareth Thomas his brothers in rugby have his back, we're exceptionally proud to be featured by England Rugby and to receive support from them through projects such as Comic Relief Try For Change
and Spirit of Rugby
