MANOR Park’s second team has one less league fixture in Warwickshire II after Bedworth II formally withdrew from the division.

After struggling to field a team for most of the season, Bedworth will no longer compete in the league and all games against them have been expunged from the table.
It means that Park’s 31-10 defeat on December 10 no longer counts, and the walkover win gained by Old Coventrians following Bedworth’s no show on December 3 is also wiped.
This lifts our seconds to second bottom of the nine team division having played 10, won two and lost eight of their matches this season.
Old Coventrians, who defeated Park 31-8 on Saturday, are three points behind in bottom spot.
The Manor Park II v Bedworth II fixture at Griff and Coton was set for March 31, the team will now be placed in the pool to seek an alternative friendly match.
Elsewhere in the division, Barkers Butts 2nds lost at home to Old Leams 17-23 and Leamington cruised to a 36-0 away success at Sutton Coldfield 3s.
In the final game of the weekend, Spartans 2s recovered from their 35-5 loss to Park the previous week by beating Dunlop 2s 43-5.
Bedworth were not the only drop outs from league rugby this week as both Stratford seconds from Warwickshire I and Dunlop thirds from Warwickshire 4 also withdrew.
In Warwickshire I, Nuneaton Old Edwardians cancelled their match at Kenilworth II forfeiting a 20-0 defeat to leave them bottom.
In Warwickshire III, Newbold thirds edged a top of the table clash with Southam 26-11, while Shipston’s seconds hammered Old Coventrians 3s 58-0 away from home.
Leamington 3s beat Old Laurentians 3s 19-16 and Earlsdon 3 saw off Moreton Marauders 28-14.
In Warwickshire 4, Bedworth Bears edged Keresley in an entertaining looking 39-34 loss, while Pinley 2s ruthlessly thrashed Rugby St Andrews 3s 87-5.
Berkswell and Balsall 2s beat Alcester 31-7 and Coventry Welsh failed to raise a team to travel to Shipston, surrendering a 20-0 defeat.
Finally, in Warwickshire 5, league leaders AEI Rugby lost 41-3 at home to Broadstreet fourths, Atherstone seconds beat Coventrians 50-19, Copsewood 2s beat Standard 18-10, Coventry Technical thrashed bottom club Stoke Old Boys 40-14, Old Leams 3s beat Spartans 3s 43-12 and Trinity Guild seconds beat Claverdon’s equivalent 22-0.
