Frozen pitches update

Frozen pitches update image

MANOR Park's three fixtures this weekend remain in the balance as the weather takes a grip on the local rugby scene.

After being postponed last week due to a frozen pitch, the first team's match away at Harbury was re-arraged to this weekend.
Similarly to last week, Harbury are to assess the pitch tonight to give an indication, but an official decision will not be made until 11am tomorrow, at their end.
This decision will be communicated to players selected for the 1st XV as soon as we know.
The third team's home game against Lutterworth, at the Griff and Coton, will be subject to an early pitch inspection with Ian King going along in the morning to give it the once over.
An inspection held today, coupled with the forecast suggest the game is unlikely to go ahead, but an official decision cannot be made until tomorrow to give the game the best chance as possible to go ahead.
Finally, the second team game away at Atherstone is also subject to a pitch inspection - details to follow!
I am in constant dialogue with representatives from Lutterworth, Atherstone and Harbury, along with the captains so soon as decisions are made, you will be informed and this website updated.
