Third team game is off
SATURDAY'S scheduled match between Manor Park RFC 3rd XV and Lutterworth RFC 3rd XV has been CANCELLED.
Lutterworth informed Manor Park they would not be travelling across on Friday night, as no concrete guarantees could be given regarding the condition of the pitch with -7c temperatures predicted over night.
Checks held today discovered hard areas of frost still present despite the slightly warmer conditions today.
With third team players wanting an answer, third team captain Ian King opted against entering the pool for a fixture as in all likelihood, it's likely not to go ahead anyway.
Players selected for the third team game maybe able to travel to Atherstone with the second team, contact Billy if you are interested.
However, this match is subject to a pitch inspection tomorrow at 11am.
The first team's rearranged away match at Harbury is subject to a pitch inspection at 11am.
