MANOR Park’s spirited defeat to Sutton Coldfield 3rds was one of only three games played in Warwickshire II last weekend.

The 41-20 reverse at the Nuneaton Academy sees the victors go fourth in the nine team division (reduced from ten following Bedworth’s withdrawal).
Second bottom Old Coventrians II also lost at home to Barkers Butts II, 10-21.
Barkers are now only two points behind leaders Onley Prison, who once again were handed a win after their visitors failed to turn up.
In the division’s final match, Old Leamingtonians II (5th) won their local derby with Leamington (3rd) 15-3.
In Warwickshire One (the division immediately above Manor II) leaders Old Laurentians II suffered a shock defeat – only their second of the campaign – to Kenilworth II on their own patch 12-36.
Nuneaton Old Edwardians II are offering their clubhouse no respite from their first team’s gloomy season as they remain bottom following an agonising 5-6 home loss to Silhillians II.
In Warwickshire Three, the division below Manor’s seconds, Newbold III remain top despite only their second defeat of the season, going down 26-16 to Earlsdon III.
Shipston II are 12 points clear of third after overcoming Old Laurentians III 26-0.
Manor Park’s opponents in the second team shield final Harbury II were afforded an easy day at the office as Old Coventrians III failed to show, automatically earning them a 20-0 success taking them to fifth in the ten team division.
Moreton Marauders edged out Southam II 10-8 in a third versus fourth encounter.
In Warwickshire Four, Pinley II kept the pressure on leaders Shipston III with a 27-11 away success at Berkswell and Balsall II.
But Shipston ran out 31-10 winners at Alcester II.
Mid-table Bedworth Bears lost 28-10 to Barkers Butts Tanners, and Coventry Welsh II defeat bottom club Rugby St Andrews III 5-19.
Finally, in Warwickshire Five, for those of you still reading, AEI Rugby stay top with a 43-10 success over Old Leamingtonians III, Atherstone II made it ten wins from 14 with a 24-15 success at Trinity Guild.
