HEAD coach Kevin Venus has been buoyed by two fantastic training sessions ahead of Saturday's top of the table clash with Upton.
Venus was absent from the 24-21 victory over Stoke Old Boys last weekend, a win which extended Park's winning run in Midlands 4 West South to five.
He said: "We have managed to select quite a strong outfit for the clash with our top of the league opposition.
"We have had two good training sessions with good numbers culminating with a very constructive captains run through last night.
"The lads are obviously starting tomorrow's game with the respect it deserve but I will be looking for the team to concentrate on our game plan and structure to get any result.
"Last week we had a tough fixture against Stoke Old Boys in really bad conditions but we stuck at it and got the result.
"We now know we can dog it out if it gets messy."
Visitors Upton were relegated with Manor Park last season, the Worcestershire side finished bottom and eight points behind Manor.
The last time the two sides met was back in January, when Park edged a 5-3 win.
Upton won last time overturning a 15-0 half-time deficit to score 17 unanswered points. Upton were under-strength due to the game being moved from a Friday night to Saturday at late notice.
The second team are away at Cov Tech - squad to be announced later today.
