Park suffer defeat at hands of Bromyard
MANOR Park slumped to a third-straight league defeat ahead of the visit of undefeated Dunlop this Saturday.
Hosts Bromyard were winless and bottom of the table with five-straight defeats suffered.
But three tries in both halves secured the Herefordshire victory in comprehensive fashion.
The hosts’ form may not have been impressive, but losing bonus point defeats to promotion-chasing Woodrush and Dunlop suggested a big performance was on the cards.
And on the club’s vice presidents day, it duly arrived at the Clive Richards Sports Ground.
On a day of very few positives for the travelling side, Cameron Brotherhood
earned his first start for the first team and second row Carl Lester
made his debut from the bench.
earned the man of the match accolade for some brutal tackling and strong running with ball in hand - all after being called up the morning of the game as Park lost two backs before the meet.
Despite not having a raft of players available, somehow Manor Park did manage to put out two teams in a high-scoring encounter back at the Griff and Coton.
