IF YOU ARE A HELPER ON THE NIGHT:

It's that time of year again as the BBQ is almost upon us. Many of you gave your time generously last year with setting up the event, helping on the night or clearing up after and I would be very grateful if you would be prepared to help again this year.

To do this simply contact the person who was team leader for the area that you worked on last year and ask them to add you to their list of helpers. Alternatively contact Mike Copestake or me to discuss how you can help.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are working on a bar it is vitally important that you let the team leader for the bar you intend to work on know that you are coming. They will add you to their list of authorised bar staff and this then has to be sent to the Safety Advisory Group to satisfy licencing laws. You will be issued with a T Shirt on the night to identify you as bar staff. You will NOT be able to just turn up on the night and work behind a bar if you are not on authorised bar helpers list.
