It is with great delight to announce, that following an excellent season with Mansfield RUFC Girls U15 and with subsequent calls up to the NLD, Midlands Divisional U15 and Sevens squads throughout the season, that Heidi Seaton has been now selected into the England U15’s Talent Development Squad and will now go forward to a programme of monthly training sessions and National Training camps.
This achievement tops of a brilliant season not only for Heidi, but also for the whole of Mansfield's Girls section.

It is only right to say that Heidi's development throughout this season has been fantastic to watch, however her achievement has also been made by her fellow players development, who have all pushed each other hard whether that be in training or matches.
Whilst Heidi's selection into the high levels of Girls Rugby is the club's first, I have no doubt it won't be the last seen at Mansfield RUFC Girls Section as the girls section of the game continues to grow.
Many thanks to all the coaches and the club members who have worked hard in the shadows to help shape, mould and support the growth of Girls Rugby at Mansfield RUFC.
